C.S. Lewis The Screwtape Letters

The Screwtape Letters is a smart, provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ novel about spiritual warfare. The play, set in an eerily stylish office in hell, follows the clever scheming of one of Satan’s senior tempters, Screwtape, as he advises his nephew, a junior tempter, on enticing a human “patient” toward damnation. The stakes are high as human souls are hell’s primary source of food.

Pre-Show Event (6:45-7:15 pm): Asbury University Lewis Center director Dr. Devin Brown and EKU’s Dr. Jacqueline Kohl will provide biographical and historical background on C.S. Lewis and The Screwtape Letters ahead of the performance.

Post-Show Event: Drs. Devin Brown and Jacqueline Kohl will also lead a talk-back after the performance.
